Default OS Image on original CD?

Greetings,
I have been getting great help regarding my failed 250MB 1100, but I received an interesting post that I took to mean that you could find the OS on the original CD's that came with the SNAP. I am the original owner, and have the original CD's, but cannot find any OS image file. Did I misunderstand the post?

Regards,

Gary

The original cd had the OS that was shipped with the unit.

The Image files you have to make your self.

Thanks! I replied to your PM, but for the benfit of anyone who may read this thread:

My unit shipped with v4+ OS, and the CD only contains (at least as far as I can see) the Assist proggy, plus the manual. The help files for the Assist states that the CD should contain the OS, help files, and Java Virtual MAchine, all in ".sup" files, but they aren't on the CD.

Even though I can access the SNAP OS on the server, I cannot transfer it via DD to another drive due to drive corruption, AFAIK.

Regards,

Gary

Both of my 4100's came with the same CD's you mention and no OS. Guess they didn't provide it with the 4100's. :P

I had to get it from another location within my company to upgrade the older server.

Yup! I am lucky enough to have access to another 1100 right across the street. It is in an office situation, so I will take it offline after hours to do the copy.

Also have V4+ Original CD, has nothing of use on it. I can't belive the crappy support they offer for these.
