Default Copy Img from SATA to PATA

Does anyone know if an image can be copied from a source drive which is sata
from a 520 to a pata drive for a 4500 both running guardian 4 ?
My 4500 is only coming up as grub, I've tried pointing it to the kernel and booting
linux starts and I get the banner saying it can't be controled via terminal must use web interface. That does me no good shes not showing up on network.

Any suggestions welcome

Thanks

Yes, you can if you know how to do it.

No, you probably do not have to go this route, at least not yet.
