OKAY,
Since this stirred up a BUNCH of stuffs last time this came up. Has anyone done the bios hack to change the EPA logo to something different? I have been wanting to do this, but did not want to accidently cook something important... Rich |

hmm, I have an intel mobo and I was able to get a nifty little biod writer from their site (yeah Intel's site believe it or not), that let me replace the Micron (whom replaced the EPA logo with their own) logo with my own personal splash screen.
It was fairly easy with the Intel setup, make a 16color bitmap convert it to a different pallette with the included converter, load the picture and startup stuff onto a 3.5" and reset the computer. Program ran itself and did it's job. All-in-all an easy setup. Looks sweet and great for showing off. Good luck to you, ------------------ ©××××ק=============== »»»»»»»»Cryonosis««««««««« ©××××ק=============== |
