Here's what sucks... I live in a small college dorm so cooling equipment isn't exactly a welcomed space taker upper. I leave my computer shit at home in L.A. Whenever I come home, I try my hardest to work like a madman on my cooling stuff. It really stinks when someone says they'll send you some stuff for weeks and they don't. Then it sucks even more when he/she says "It will go out tomorrow morning" and the stuff doesn't turn up before Christmas time. Then when I go to Colorado the day after Christmas for ten days, come home, and the certain stuff i'm expecting still isn't there, well that just goes to show how slow our postal service is (postal service.... right...). What sucks even more is how I have a free day tomorrow and could have gotten Black Ice Part II written up for everyone, but I am missing some crucial stuff that should be here now. What sucks even more than that is how I need to go back to San Diego sunday. I'm not sure when i'll be back home so at this point, even if the items show up, who knows when it will all get put together... Anyhow, just venting some major frustration... Sorry Black Ice Part II is taking so long.

I too have to cram all my major work into holiday times - I only carry the most basic of hand tools to college, the power equipement and such stays in my parents garage. OVer this christmas I went from air to water cooled though at long last including making a block, and also made a HDD block. it was a pretty productive time

don't worry kev, it'll all pan out right eventially.
In the mean time, my p3 rig is basically done, as I speak I am preparing the watercoooling for it, by tomorrow I should have hit -15C under load with my 2 p3's, which will be at 1500+ ideally. |

Kev, get yourself a heater core and move on! (j/k)
I know how you feel! I ordered my Rio SP250 30 days ago from buy.com. Still no sign of it! I want my rio damn it! I hope you get ur black ice 2 soon. as 4 the dorm living, I'll be there next year. My hope is to get all my cooling stuff in a HUGE full tower (not the antec fake full tower) with wheels and I can get a ride home if I need stuff (it'll be about 45min-1.5 hrs depending on traffic). |
