Default Damn Danger Den!

I've had it WITH THEM!!

I got a peltier from them a couple months ago.. used it for 4 months straight.. no problems.. took it out once I started my phase change project.. it's been sitting in my room with the power supply for it now for the past couple months..

Well lately I've been using it to load test my phase change system.. just been putting it on my water block and hand tightening the cold plate screws..

The other day the WHOLE F'in thing fell apart on me.. the ceramic started to chip off.. the wire leads came off.. had to re-solder them.. both sides of the peltier get hot..

Whatever.. I email DD.. ask them for a replacement..

This was last week.. I HAVE NOT GOTTEN AN EMAIL BACK YET!

I emailed their tech support.. IT TAKES SO F'IN LONG FOR THEM TO EMAIL YOU BACK! MOST OF THE TIME I NEVER GET RESPONSES!

I WILL NEVER BUY A F'IN DANGER DEN PRODUCT EVER AGAIN! I know these peltiers aren't made by them.. but they should still be stepping up and emailing me back and straightening my problem out.. GRR!!!

This wouldn't have anything to do with your butane torch heat test, would it?

Not your fault and I would be pissed off also, (how do you think I got the PH #. Now I lost it !! I will see if Ican find it.

Guys....

This thread is like "I used something successfully for months, then used it in a way it was not meant to be used, it failed, and now I want a freee replacement, and they wont return my emails, so they suck!"

Man get a ****ing grip. Its damn pelt, they go bad, they die, life goes on, and you buy another pelt.

Den is busy, real busy, hell it takes a week for me to get a reply from them at times. Now thats not good, but I wouldnt go slamming a companies name just cause you have some issues with how a product was mis used and finally failed. I mean... if you run your car at redline for 200 miles, and it blows up... you going to ask the Mfg for a new one? well it was made to go to redline so it must be their fault that it failed.

Den rocks, they stand behind their products, and I have personally never had an issue with them. Are they slow on email? Oh hell yeh... and thats a bad thing, but please dont base your purchasing decisions on one pissed off kid on some forum. read around to see what more level headed people have said about them.

I am locking the thread and Punisher consider yourself warned, most stupid posts like this and you will find yourself banned fast. I have no problems with legitamite gripes, but spam flames like this are not needed or wanted.
