Default When is LiquidCool coming back?

Anyone got an idea of when Michael's going to open up LiquidCool for business again?

The site says early Feb - which has come and gone. He isn't responding to e-mail or icq messages...

That leviathan radiator w/ shroud is so tempting....

I would strongly caution anyone against doing business with LiquidCool.

I placed an order for one of Mr. Huck's radiators in mid-December, and paid up-front with PayPal. When I hadn't received any word about it in a month, I e-mailed him asking about it and was told that it would ship "in a few days". The e-mail I sent two weeks later inquiring about the status of my order and the one two weeks following that went unanswered.

I sent e-mail to every address I could find for Mr. Huck, and never received any reply, including to my request to cancel my order and refund my money.

So, more than two months after the fact, I'm still out $44, and I still don't have the radiator I ordered.

I had intended to put this in the Reseller Ratings forum, but this seems as appropriate a topic as any.

i've heard of the exact same thing happening on the hardocp forum - you wouldn't happen to be the same person would you?

are there people out there who have had good experiences with liquidcool?

this wait is so long i'm likely to just go out and buy the heatercore and mod it myself.

I bought a Leviathon radiator in November. It took about two weeks before it shipped, but I did receive it. It's really easy to make one yourself. I'd recommend going that route, but I'd love to buy the fan shroud that they sold.

No, the above was the first time that I'd posted anywhere about the problems I've had. Though it doesn't surprise me that other people have had similar experiences.

As I said in one of my e-mails to Michael, this would bother me less if I hadn't already paid for the product in full. It isn't as though this is pending on a credit card; the cash has already changed hands.

Malchira: I sent you a PM. Give me your order info or your address or real name.

Michael@liquidcool.org

I dont have any paperwork for an order around $44 that is currently open. Is this Shaun Reynolds?

Michael, why haven't you replied to the many e-mails I've sent you before about when the site will open? Also other people on other forums have noted that you don't reply to them either.

And please, can you give a specific date when you're opening again?

otherwise, me attempting a DIY version is preferrable to waiting even more.

Unfortunately I've been to buy with my daily life to do much of anything with LiquidCool. The job I got in november was supposed to be only part time but it quickly turned into 60+ hours a week. I assumed a little while after christmas and new years it would slow back down but it's still as hectic as it was the week before christmas.

Thats why I had the begining of febuary as when I would open back up. I'm right in the middle of rebuilding the site from the ground up so I can do more with it than I currently can. Between that and work I just dont physically have the time to do much else. I've got a bunch of parts I was developing just sitting on my bench waiting to get done.

I wish I could say I could build ya one but I just cant right now. However if ya want I'll give ya the part number and tell ya how I build them so you can make your own...

definitely! what's the part list? i'm pretty sure i know what most of it is (1975 caprice heatercore, jb weld), but i don't know what the fittings sizes are.

also - what paint did you use? did you have to prime the metal in anyway?
