That cooler lootks cool, but that bastard ran 3dmark 2001 at 640x480 and is trying to impress people with a massive nonstandard score. Other than that, i like it. to adapt it to water, you would need to find some way to convert it to only one or two outputs. I certainly dont want to have 8 outputs. The general design could work though

To make it, one way to get it to 1 output would be to put another end cap on top of the first one, with a cover plate on it.

Run a center inlet extending to the bottom end cap chamber. Then drill 8 holes in the bottom of the top end cap at the edges of the circle between the fins so the water exits the bottom end cap and goes into the top end cap chamber. Then have the outlet barb going only through to the top end cap chamber. You could adjust the size of the 8 openings to balance the flow.

Probably easier and just as good to do a cross-drilled block, plus a cross-drilled block wouldn't eat up so much space

That would work too Not as tall as what I was talking about, just larger in diameter.

cool.. now to improve it 1 step better....

add another circle plate between the top and the one with all the holes.
make only a hole in the center for the center inlet, BUT make it bigger. that way the water is evenly pulled up (from the holes to the center around the inlet) , and not just from the holes on the side.

nothing wrong with that, but a normal waterblock will do, just epoxy it on (most 50mm x 50mm ones should fit) I'm personally much more concerned about cooling the ram and the gpu without taking up a large number of pci slots

how would you sugest we cool our ram ... ramsinks barely work...

I used pelts on my geforce sdr ram (didn't want to mess up my radeon 8500) and it would cause my card to crash because the ram sinks weren't enough to remove the heat ?

I'd buy 10mm x 20mm pelts if I was going really hardcore, and have 3 waterblocks on the card, but for most purposes, I think that one large block covering all the ram and gpu to cool it down is the best way

okay , that might work on a geforce but for the radeon i don't think it will..... the ram layout and gpu set up will hinder a waterblock... there are many small caps and what not between everything .

no, I don't think one is made, you'd have to do you own, all as seperate pieces too, for the ram and gpu
