I'm about to purchase nearly the same setup. Danger Den Maze 2, Cube, and I think the Eheim's are a little pricy, so I was going to get a MagDrive 2 (250gph). Do you think theres an advantage to the 5 (500gph). Sounds big. Won't overheat or cause hose leaks will it, do you think it adds extra cooling? I haven't seen anybody go that big!

I was using a chiller so I thought I'd need the extra flow.

but, a 250 would probly suite me just fine now.

yeah, the pump does add heat.

Any thoughts on a 350gph (I didn't know danner made them) locally - Canada, the 250gph are $75.00cdn and the 350gph $10.00 more. I want to get whatever has best cooling vs. noise and heat. Stick with 250gph???

Wow, you are in Winnipeg too. What are the odds of that?

I get my stuff at Revy, Home Depot and WestBurne Plumbing, the comercial plumbing supply on St. Mathews
Here are my results:

I cool with an evaporative cooler

How did it do? The Duron 600 immediately became rockhard stable at 1070, 2.10 volts and nothing could crash it. The temps were good. 26c/78f at 80% load and they would not break 30 C under full load. After 20 hours straight with a load of at least 80% the entire time and often hitting 100%, the water temp was 15.5 C. During this time, the room was about 20 C...The computer will now run as high as 1144 but not quite stable, 1123 is pretty good.
