You guys with the CNCs. . .

I was just wondering, all of you who have home CNC mills, do you currently sell waterblocks to people, or just make them for yourselves? I would be interested in talking with one of you. I know Fixitt (I think I spelled it right) is very busy, but how about Jaydee or someone else? I AM looking for aluminum, so don't worry about wasting 24 hours and 5 cutting bits on me. So if any of you guys are into making blocks for people, maybe we can talk?

how complex is the block? im getting a mill soon,(non cnc) and i can make blocks now that arent quite as nice(looking) as milled blocks, its basicly drilled the channels and connect the dots.... they are pretty nice, if you go to overclockers.com and look at my avatar its the one that looks like..

At the moment I don't even have time to make blocks for myself! I am currently typing this on my laptop in a Hotel room as my real job requires me to travel. After this job I am headed right back out. Fixittt currently is responsible for the big Spir@l that www.dtekcustoms.com sells(not the little geminicool ones). So he does sell a few but last I heard he was not milling them himself anymore. I have a block that I have been fine tuning and was thinking about selling but I don't think I will bother.

Thanks for the replies, and assistance. I will be starting school now in two days, so I willsee what I can throw together using the school's tools. (Hey, that rhymed.) Anyway, I know the deal, post pictures. So once I get settled in school, I'll look into it. Hey, screw the other classes, right?

It is not even necessary to use a milling machine, with a vertical drill many models can be carried out.
I have carried out 10 models with the vertical drill and some of them has given an exceptional yield.
My Nº 11 this even carried out with the dremel and although their internal finish is not good doesn't have a lot of importance. The important is the yield.
It is certain that with a milling machine they can be carried out many designs.

That's a nice looking block, how does that design perform?? Also, do you have any pics of the block finished?

That model is not finished.
I need to make the cover that is of aluminum anodizing in metalized blue color
and the base silver plated like in my Nº 4 and others of my blocks.
At the moment it will use the same hold down that with Nº4 and Nº10, is the one that better works to me.
