Default Petition for better PC game packages

http://www.petitiononline.com/pcgdvdcp/petition.html

If you bought UT2003, you'll notice how crappy the packaging for the video game was...and many other games are also coming in cheap packages.

We need better packages such as DVD boxes.

I would rather have a game come in a DVD box or similar. I don't care about overly huge boxes, etc... Just need the game CD and the instructions(well, maybe not those )

UT2003 is out??!?!!! /runs to the store!!

Bah, move to Europe DVD boxes for games have been standard for years, with only the occasional straggler to release a big box.

It's not entirely clear in Europe either. M$ games are still distributed in *poor* cardboard boxes, for example. Also there's the problem with complex sims that need a 300-page manual... And no i dont want them in PDF !
Some ppl set good standards like DiD or Maddox. Good quality (=sturdy..) box, full of heavy manuals, quick reference sheets on high quality paper... DVD cases are OK too as long as everything fits in...
When one shells out about $50 for a d*mn CD-ROM one can expect some efforts on the packaging...

They can easily fit a bigger manual in the dual-DVD cases.

I have a lot of PSX games that came woth ONE cd in one of those dual/triple cd cases. The other side housed a 1/4 thick manual.
