I was browsing around the web when i came across a review for the KT4 ultra. Turned out that the KT400 does not support DDR400. LOL. And the MSI KT4 doesnt even have mounting holes. What r we gonna do? No watercooling? We could prolly use the side clips but they suck ass.

well, i remember sending some emails to amd to ask them why they removed the 4 hole specification from their motherboard recommended design, because i was quite pissed about that. they were giving me some shit that with the newer cpu design the thermal load would lower, and as such bigass coolers were no longer going to be necessary. they also mentioned that they simply removed it from the reference design, and that it was entirely upto the mobo manufacturors to include the holes in the design, or not. so it appears msi won't use em anymore, that makes it quite simple, the ones that need the holes will not be able to buy msi anymore. i guess that there will still be manufacturors aiming at enthusiast crowd (shuttle, epox) that will use the holes. it might not be a bad idea to let other manufacturors know what we would like to see on their new boards. because consumer criticism does mean something, even if it is only from a relatively small group of ppl.
