5/8 OD 1/2 ID
or 3/4 OD 1/2 ID both braided since I'm cheap and regular vinyl kinks and collapses bad.

I agree: plain old vinyl collapses!
Braided, it probably doesn't matter. The only thing it's going to affect, is the size of the clamp, and since most clamps will fit either size, hey, whatever is cheaper! |

I'm already home...oh well, back to modding the heatercore. I'll pick some up along with my MaxiJet 1200 I guess.

Dunno, I think I'd go for the 5/8 stuff so it'll bend tighter(?), or not be so prone to hold/reform shape...
What kinda braid is it?, not metal?(shorting!).Good thing I saw was a bloke putting 'rings' of Cu or PVC on the tight curves where PVC kinks to keep the round shape... |

Back in the day, there was someone here named Guy-something or another. I forget. He used all braided and ended up crushing his CPU because the braided tried to straighten out after a few days in his rig. He wasn't a newbie either, as I recall he'd done a good deal of plumbing before.
I'd just get Tygon or very thickwalled vinyl. |

Tygon = expensive of course
Thickwall = Not at Lowes/Home Depot. Maybe a combonation of regular Vinyl and Braided.

What thickness is considered thickwall? I have 1/2 vinyl tubing with 2 - 2.5 mm walls (thickness). Is this considered thickwall or thin?
/edit/ I would consider it thickwall...

Can't get thickwall and i'm running low on the budget.
I found the post redleader mentioned about braided moving the waterblock... I also was at the [E]vil|Forum and found some post on how to bend Vinyl where it'll not kink, which was mentioned my someone else that may post here as well. So I may end up going with regular Viynl denepending on how much of a bend I need to get to the CPU waterblock. Which is on its way.
