My Swifty Pelt setup and running

The Swiftech is up and running with a monsterous lytron Cu rad and 2 10in fans. my temps at 185fsb@1.75v are as follows:

IT-7temp:
load:26c
idle:2c

Probe on the socket:
load:14.3c
idle:-11c

keep in mind i'm cooling r9700 with the same water and running Via Aqua1300 through a 20in x 11in rad!!! there is almost no flow.

3.15ghz out of a 2.26 BABY!!! it would boot as high as 3.4 but blue screen on XP.

what wattage TEC, 226? Those sound like high temps for such a high wattage TEC, but you are using a massive radiator and a relativly punny pump. Hook a little giant or an Iwaki on there and see what she can really do.

226W woth a mean well 12v 25A supply. Keep in mind the temps are when its highly OCed and the IT-7 probe is known to register high temps. Although the pump is hit hard and the water has no pressure at all it just babrely flows.
with that out of the way I have a new problem.

MY BOARD WILL NO LONGER START. at first it was suffering from a cold boot problem were it always showed an A7 error in the mornings (i don't have the balls to run my setup un attended just yet). neways after i let it sit there for a minute or so and a few restarts later it would boot up fine and stable. then one morning it wouldn't boot at all after clearing the cmos same prob. then when i touched the cmos pins with the jumper it booted up with all my bios settings and it didn't need a jumper on the pins at all. this was the way to turn it on for 2 days and now its complete silence. there is no reofrom the board at all. NEone know what to do?

Which Lytron are you using? I have a 6320 coming in later this week, and I'm curious as to what to expect out of it? Mine is 23"x12"x3.5". How big is yours (or the model number ... and I AM referring to your radiator

)?

I'd say your temp were fine. After all your only putting off 95.5 watts of heat. People running AMD with about the same watts are running higher then that.

You probably just popped a cap or two on that Abit. That's normal. Take a look around the board, see if you can identify the bad caps. But sometimes they just go bad without leaving any proof behind. Anyways, you can replace the caps pretty easily. It's just the price you pay for running an Abit. I have the URL to a site that will repair your board for you, or sell you the correct caps so you can fix it yourself. If you'd like that URL, I can dig it up for ya later.

That would be great if u could. Could the board have hit the cpu with incorrect voltage. the little 2.26 that could is fried. Damn I loved that chip

As for the Lytron is 21x11x3.5 it has two mostrous 10in fans and its all copper including the tubing. I believe it is the 6000 series but i'm not sure. I would get the model nuber for u but its in a bad spot and the ****er is heavy and wedged under my desk. U will be satisfied. It was quite amasing when I turned on my comp with pelt running and forgot about the rad fans (they are AC current and I have to plug them in to the wall) I then let it run prime95 and happily went down for dinner. When I came back my cpu was at 35c and the rad was scorching HOT. The pump was making odd noises and the tygon was soft hehe. After letting the water cool everything was back to normal.

It is the 6320. That is the same model I picked up. Good to see that the thing can take a beating like that. It only weighs 17.5 lbs ....

Keep in mind the huge fans each way 10lbs. hehheh

I just hate picking it up couse one i grabbed it with my palm on the fins and it sliced my hand into little tiny lines. SUX!!! so just don't grab it by the fins.

If u find a nice place for it u will love that rad. Also get huge fans as they move a ton of air and are silent.

I will get a digi this week so I will post some pix of my setup or actually the peaces as my board and proc are fried

I made a 30"x20"x20" box/table for housing the Lytron/fans/pump/massive connecting pipes. I'm going to use that rad to cool 3-4 CPU blocks. I may even get another one and hook them up parallel ... depending on input in another thread. Big projects can suxor.

Here's a better one: sell your 6320, and buy yourself some heatercores.
