Default Looks like the [H] is catching hell for another crappy review....

Some funny business going on with Intel 3.06/HT review.

Commentary from O/Cers here:

http://www.overclockers.com/tips00187/

Info from the people who were banned here:

http://xtreme.routehero.com/forums/s...5&pagenumber=1

No surprise (to Procooling staffers) that Steve would go crazy banning people when they dare to comment on the quality of his reviewing.

Hmmm.. caught lie'n in a review... and whats that I see??? a BIG mofo banner for the product being reviewed above the review? Wow what's the chance of that happening?

Liar's

Its nice to see some other folks are seeing how crooked that HardOCP truly is. And they claim all the rumors about them being paid off for good reviews are false also...

Betcha the HardOCP minions will back kyle on those screen shot and date changes Cant wait to hear their excuses.

Has anyone writen to OverClockers (AKA Ed) and notified him about what happened to the people here at ProCooling?

He may not care, we may not care, maybe nobady gives a damn.. but at least getting the word out and notifying them could help bring an end to this whole delema.

If enough people know about the problems at [H] then maybe things will change..........then again maybe not

Just a suggestion.

ahh yes I remember that, like 15 banned pro/chat guys in the space of 1 hours. That was so funny.

It just appears the guys at [h] have a problem telling the truth, and can't handle it being questioned

If only there were a few more Pro/Staff who could work on getting banned this round, that would make us part of almost every major banning at HardOCP!

I think you would have to hire more staff before anyone from here could be banned.

ex[H]er here..... Never spent too much time in the forums, but I read the news first thing every morning....still might. I am highly irritated that they would do something like this especially after the whole "Reseller Ratings Elite" thing kicked in....what a bunch of greedy pieces of shit.

Welcome to the forums DaBrain!

You know this is yet another example of making things much worse by covering them up. Had they merely said "We accidentally left video card overclocked for the 3.06 tests" then NONE of this would have happened.

Leave it to [S]teve to think he can put together a sloppy, poorly executed review and then deal with the fallout by lying and abusing his admin status. He's done the same thing many times now. That's what o/cers compained about (and got banned and their links refused as news), that's what Procooling complained about (and got banned and links refused as news), and that's what happened with Xtreme Systems.

Thanks. I think the [H] ego has inflated way too big for them to admit it was a boo boo....maybe steve was looking at his latest pics of Asia doing her thing instead of paying attention to the review that thousands of people would see....ah well. My real home is the Maximum PC forums at http://forums.delphiforums.com/maxcommport/start but variety is always nice....see you guys around the forum.

pHaestus,

I posted a link to a hmor site that has a bit up about [H] and this issue. I should have put it up in here but put it up without thinking in the water cooling forum where I spend most of my time here. thought the guys there might enjoy it after the way some were mistreated by, [H], should be [S]oft as they are spineless. Could you move or deleate it please.

Thanks,

Blackeagle

Heres a copy of an email I sent to Kyle and Stevie

Just wanted to say thanks for proving everyone right who doubted ocp's ethics. But eh, in the end you made some money from it so that’s all that matters.

If your readers don’t agree with you and your false numbers who needs em... damn commies... I mean cant they just accept that you are in it for the money and will lie in any way you can just to get a few more bucks?

Banning anyone who dares question you just means you are selective in who’s worthy of using the forum, and results in supperior quality of conversation in the forum. (and an outstanding amount of people who have no spine)

I knew you guys dig goats, but it now seems the only people who are able to stay in your forum are sheep just following the Sheppard no matter how corrupt he is.

Well ladies, enjoy your new born shit storm,

(BTW: I am sure a retort from steve will be something like "I will kick your ass in person" or something like that...)
Heheh his reply was:

Default The Offical Press Release about HardOCP:

Well I figure I can have some more fun with this

From the PC News Desk:

In a turn of events this week HardOCP, the online hardware trash mag, was busted by its peers for purposely posting false numbers. In the past HardOCP has denied any unethical business practices in the past but it seems now just as with Enron, these falsehoods are now coming to the surface.

In a brief interview with the owners of HardOCP we received these comments from Kyle in his underground man love dungeon:

"Well I dont know what people are talking about, I mean we are law abiding, good people we would never....<turns around to smack the Gimp which just stopped giving him man love for a few seconds> ... what was I saying? I never touched that boy... I thought he was 18... err.. Oh this is about the lies we told about the CPU's, yeh we never lied to anyone. Everyone is wrong we are right, all you who defy us will burn in hell..."

Our Alaskan correspondent caught up with the other half of HardOCP - Steve, Who was the actual author of the debated review on HardOCP. Here is a brief transcript of the interview with Steve:

PC:"So Steve why did you lie to all your readers with made up numbers?"
Stevie:"What? Lie? who lied? I just told the truth as I know it... I tested that CPU to the bestest <sic> of my abilities. I am the ultimate hardware testing review writer ever to grace gods earth... oh and did I mention I could beat you up? Oh yeh... I can.. I could hurt you bad... and thats why I am the bestest evar to write a review... See the muscles? yeh thats all review and testing right there."
PC:"What do you make of all the hate emails and posts on forums around the web that are flaming your review?"
Stevie: "Flame BAAAAAADDDD Steve No Like Flame. ANd I am going to get on a plane and fly all over the world and kick everyones ass a few times for questioning my bad ass testing skillz. I mean how can someone possibly question my reviews when I got a mad tite mullet here? The mullet is all the back up I need for the reviews.. and muscles.."
PC:"Its been said that having a functional brain is needed to write a review do you agree with this"
Stevie:"........... a what?"
PC:"Umm thanks steve"

HardOCP has yet to post any info concerning the questions being raised, more than likely because they dont even have answers. Today the value of HardOCP has plummeted due to the fact every person who had a spine and some buying power was banned from hardOCP due to them asking about the validity of the review. Readers who were recently banned made the grim connections to HardOCP with Stalin, Hitler, and all of the other best dictators the world has known. We hear HardOCP's ruler Kyle, has accepted the comparison and made only one comment "Just wait till the killing starts... just question our lies then... but we dont lie.."

More updates as we get them.
-- Joe Kelly at the PC news desk.

I want to be part of the [H]ard banned Elite,
but I can't even remember my log in.
Maybe Steve will read this, be nice, and ban me.
He can't kick my arse, I live to close to him.

Here after I defended his shit H20 round up. Having different 'clientelle' and writing for them is one thing. I don't beleive that his intelligent readers (oxymoron?) are interested in "which proc is fastest" if it's a lie.
