A lot of the "small mfgrs" are sharing the same facilities in Taiwan already; perhaps they can share thermal testing results too
![]() I have spoken with Andrew at Millennium Thermal about the pro testers before. He said that you can get "C/W" values that vary by 50% or more with different labs and that some have a definite "home team" bias. I didn't go too far into detail, but that could mean that perhaps the US is ripe for such an industry. Who validates the tester, though? Intel probably won't base their validation on page hits or webmaster personality, eh? |
