[H] at work, again

Reported on a french news outlet:
http://clubic.com/n/n8014.html

In short:
[H] publishes an "exclusive" "top-secret" plan escaped from Asus R&D labs. This plan shows an AMD duallie mobo, powered by a so-called "NForce FX" chipset, with PCI-X, Dual DDR, etc. (and dual CPUs of course).
Today Asus answers this rumour and denies everything, from the NForce FX existence to the existence of a duallie mobo project.

I like ClubIC remark (translated):
"There we're left dubitative about credibility of the site (HardOCP), at the origin of this so-called exclusivity"

Yep, dubitative, indeed Even international sites which never heard of [H] now know what to expect from them.

Nice. But in reality there is always a chance that Asus may be working both sides on this. Companies are shiftier than websites... or atleast they can be.

I don't know what to think. Were did this pic come from in the first place? Even as messed up as [H] is I doubt they would fabricate this pic. My guess is some comp geek had to much time on his hands and drew the pic up in paint and e-mailed to [H] and said he had some inside info. Foolish of [H] to post something without checking into it first. But if there is a chance this is true then it would be obvious that ASUS would deny it. Last thing they need is to let their competitors know whats in R&D. Also doubt they would have such a primitive drawing of such a board and would be let loose in any way.

Who knows.

Hmmm maybe if I had video tape of me killing little fluffy poodles on the front page that could generate "controversy traffic" too

Jeez, Bill! I was eating lunch when I read that. Well, it WAS lunch. I agree with you, though, that watercooling would be much more popular if we had more firm supporters who really didn't mind showing off their assets. But, it might not go over really well with my wife and kids.

I thought all dykes were those sassy little chicky babes you find together in the "black label" section of Penthouse magazines.

Another illusion destroyed!

How's that, they all messed up my nice thread, about a respectable and venerable site, ..hmmm ok i stop

Did i even go once on [H] ? never. Just had to read the news around the web. And laugh.

If they reconvert as a pr0n site, i'll maybe take a look, since they're so good at taking pictures.

Euphamism (slang) for a lesbian (females who like females).

The word "dyke" more often refers in a derogatory fashion to very "butch" (almost male looking) women who are lesbians.

Joe's board is clearly a fake, there is no first pci slot!!!!!!!!

seriously though, the p4c800 pics on [h] came from asus as well, apparently from the same source, the p4c800 pic is definately a real pic, why would the same person at asus fake one pic and send kyle two real pictures? that board just so happens to be a particularly awesome board as well!
