I wonder if its possible to use a cheap drillpress and an x-y vice to mill plexiglass?
How hard will this be on the presses bearings? Any ideas on life expectancy? |

It's certainly possible. I'd imagine it'd take a toll on the bearings eventualy because there is no provision at all for side load on a drill, but how much how soon depends on how savage/fast you are in the passes and how deep they are...

I would say it would have very little effect on the bearings on a good drill if you take your time, as plexi is very soft but i don't know if your drill is any good
