Confirmed by various online sources.
As to know if AMD will plug the hole until the 64-bit CPU is out, this is another problem. PR dept says it's slated for May but it may be a vaporware product...

I wonder just how high they will push them. If they run them up to 2300 with 400 fsb => XP3400?

That would be nice. Could also prompt Intell into release of some faster CPUs sooner than they otherwise would.
