Default A New Design Need Opinions

http://www.zmoz.com/pics/paulforsman3.jpg

This design was made by JFetting and I consulted a friend doing a degree in Mechanical Fluids.

Any comments are welcome
Machinist told me $150

I don't think to many people have been here today. Usually slow on Saturdays.

Anyway looks like a interesting project. Needs work though. Not worth milling as is IMO.

Looks interesting, i would love to get my hands on a WB like that. The performance would probably awesome on a WB like that. If you follow through on the design, well good luck.

[WFT?]Oh no!, a psychic troll!! ...[/WTF?]

What is the circle around the radius bit for?. It'll defeat itself if it's to prevent flow from going straight to the exit barb. cause it'll just flow to the outlet in the circle. A radial design needs a 'radial' exit waterpath...

Thats what the machinist told me, the center circle around the radius bit will interfer with flow.

What are your suggestions Jaydee to improve the design?

One suggestion I have to you is to make the fins connected to the centre. That way they should pick up more heat. But that way you'll be sacrificing flow.

Have you got some dimensions? I think the outhermost fins are superfluous (not necessary).

I think 2 outlets will be the least you should have on this design.

Just remembering now, you once sent me an email regarding tubing and where to buy it.

Now there's a design that looks familisr

The outer wall doesn't distribute the flow evenly, plus it's an added restriction. You ought to open it up, or drop it alltogether.
