Looking for custom case help...
Heres the thing. I've got my eye on the Chieftec Scorpio TA-10BD case, see it here . Now, its steel, and i wanted aluminum but havent been able to find it. If i were to buy aluminum sheets, is there some place i could go to have them shape the side panels, top, and bottom? Or if i could to it by myself, what kind of tools would i need to bend the aluminum and so on...
Thanks for ANY advice. |

Same case as me!
You'd need a bending brake. Someone posted a link recently to a cheap source for one. You'll have to run a search. why would you want aluminium though? The case weight isn't going to change much, and if it's for looks, you'd be better off using brushed stainless steel, but don't ask me where you'd get it! Aluminium will dent/scratch easily. |
