i thought to myself "siavash, if you are going to take monet out of your fathers wallet to pay the cnc guy, why not use it to make a furnace instead"
so anyway im here cos i know how to make the furnace and i know how to cast it etc.. but i want to know if anyone here has tried it yet? if so what was the overall quality of the blocks you could manage. also a metallurgy question - should i cool it slow or fast - im thinking slow as to allow larger grains to form within the copper... sorta like annealing it
