While picking up my heater core someone bought 1/2 heater hose (the blcak stuff in your car) at $2.50 for 5 feet. Tygon is more expensive than that a foot.
Anyone use this instead of the pricey stuff? It would sure save money & it's designed for high pressure, heat & radiators. Comments? |

It's cheaper , but very stiff and kinks in tight bends. I think a PC case is a bit too confining to get wide radius, kink free bends.

True enough. There's heater hose custom made to fit around vehicles. If one were to get the ones with gentle turns & cut them to length they would be smooth and not a problem I think. I was thinking I'd use that when it comes to sharp bends. Maybe there would be a few places for Tygon or Norprene which is as good but is tan & opaque but cheaper.
