Default TEC system.....one loop or two?

My first post here, so Hi.

Alright, in my quest for better cooling I'm going to pelts. I plan on a 226watt on cpu, and either an 80 or 172@12V on the gpu.

Now, my original plan was to have my loop go like this:

cpu->chevette heatercore->gpu->pump->BIX->cpu

Now, I'm thinking, two blocks, two rads, why not just go with two loops?

Would I see much benefit? the blocks are a maze 3-1 and either a Swifty MCW50-T or Maze 4-1 GPU. With 1/2" Id tubing.

Or, would I be better off to just invest in a better/more powerful pump? I've been eying a Mag3 if I do that.

Tell me what you think.

Alright, any reasons why? To me it seems like it would be equal water temps, just lower flow. But I would think with 2 blocks and two radiaots my Via aqua1300 would handle it, but maybe not.

Also would this radiator be better than a BIX?

2 loops complicates things. Sell both radiators and buy yourself a caprice radiator, they are like 2x what a chevette radiator is and just as cheap.

I know that, but then you are having one TEC get the water really hot for the next. That's something I'm trying to avoid.

But, I just measured my case again, and i think I can fit a caprice in the top of it instead of a BIX.

by using two radiaotrs in between the Tec's it helps cool it down some anyway.

Maybe its just be... but my 226watt + 80watt pelt dont get the water that warm. Its not ice cold but its above luke warm.. I cant get the temp til a few days when I get a probe. I have

Chevy Impala HC ( Fedco 2199 )
Mag3
1/2 ID Tubing
Maze4-1 CPU
Maze4-1 GPU
Homemad Res from a Gin bottle.

Im getting great contact from everything. I dunno. I just run in parallel because of the pump Everything works fine for me.

Few days when I get my probe I can tell you true temps... If you want.

I think it would be a good idea to put together two loops. It is true that one peltier warms the water for the rest of the blocks. If you are planning to put two peltiers you have to remember you wil need two PSU.

I'm going to go with two loops, right now I'm trying to find a heatercore that is about 10 inches long, and under 5.75 inches wide.

At that point I will be ready to Tec cool my new A64 setup.

I plan on a meanwell 320-12 for the 226watt pelt, and a sparkle 350watt for the 80watt gpu pelt.
