Default Please look at this Radiator.. Is it good enough for a watercooling setup??

i have seen this radiator in one of the nearest radiator shops near our place.. anyway here are the pictures :-) kindly take a look at them :-)

(please copy-paste the links to your web browser :-) thanks
clicking on the link will not work because it is a restriction of geocities... kindly copy paste it then.. thanks :-)

the size is about 5 inches by 10 inches or 11 inches.... and they said can be used for watercooling.. and its only cheap.. about $20... the radiator also comes with 1/2 fittings just like the Cathar Casacade block :-)

what do you think guys??? im planing to use an EHEIM 1250 Pump and a Cathar cascade h20 block :-)

please post all your comments and suggestions about the radiator and its design .. thanks so much for everything :-)

i dont see a reason why it shouldnt work. just be sure to test it for leaks and whatnot before buying.

If you are worried about price, I dont think a Cascade is for you

The radiator is a nice one, I'd say it will do a swell job cooling.

thanks guys! :-)

hmmmmm im planning of buying a heater core......

but i have this question in mind.....

Is the "Bigger the Better conotation applicable to a heater core???? cause i will be having an External Pump + Reservoir + Radiator setup ( all of them outside the case of my PC )

assuming that i have converted the heater core to 1/2 tubings/fittings... is it "The Bigger the Better" for Heatercores????? thanks guys!

Yes, but you'll get into dimishing returns. Anything over about 12"x8" won't really give any improvement.

^ what he said. You can always go bigger and better, but in the end, you will never get that last 1C without some kind of "special" cooling. There is a point where overkill no longer overkills but actually makes the system impractical. That is about where a double size heatercore is. Anything bigger and you will not see it do better. Same thing for pumps, only after a point they dump more heat into the system than is removed by faster flow.

It's all about finding the most practical and best performing mix.
