Well, seams that I made a n00bee misstake..
Made my GPU block 50*50 mm and thougth i could use the mounting holes near the GPU.(the small ones on the Ti4200) But I can't find any bolts or skrews that are 2mm, none long enough... I thougt of building a mounting device so I can use the outer holes. The thing is that I have mounted pretty large heat sinks on the memory banks, and I have to remove them if i want to use the outer holes... Can i use super glue? I have used it for the sink currently mounted, but the block weights about 200g... So, what shall I do? |

just get some m2 studding and some m2 bolts, bloody small but u should be able to find it np. Dunno where you'd get it where u are tho, where are u?
In the UK it'd be easy enough to pick up from RS Components.. edit: oh and u can use a Thermal Adhesive like Artic Silvers Adhesive, name escapes me right now.. don't use superglue for gods sake. |

I live in sweeden and they don't have (m2)bolts in the hardware store or "clock" store or in any "do it you're self" store...bad... (they could make some, by they will cost about 30$) And I didn't intend to use super glue over the entire surface, just in the corners outside the "nividia circle", and then I put Artic Silver over the rest... The sink currently mounted is mounted this way, but only 2 small dropps, in two of the corners...And it sits realy hard...will have some problem removing it.. My block weights about 200g, so i'm not sure glue is enought.... |

You can get m2 stud if you look hard enough.
You may be able use arctic aluminia epoxy but its permanant! |

haven't tried this myself, but from somebody else around here, for a less permanent solution mix equal parts arctic alumina epoxy, and arctic silver paste. don't ask me for references though.
