Default What kind of cooling system should I use?

Here are my system specs:

Dell XPS Extreme Gamers System

Intel Pentium 4 3.4 Ghz
2 Gigs of Dual Channel DDR Ram
256 Meg DDR ATI Radeon 9800 XT
74GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (10000RPM)

Bowman is my inspiration, before I was a registered user, I did a search on google on Refridgerant Cooled PC Pics, and his thread was on the #1 slot. Lucky for me he knew what the hell he was doing. I would like to do something like what he did, but he did it with an AMD (which I hate with a passion). I would like to overclock my processor, and would like to increase the productivity of my R9800XT (either by cooling only, or by overclock / cooling). Living in North Carolina, the humidity is quite high, which poses a risk for condensation. I do not wish to consume ALOT of electricity just to run my computer, but I do want to have a leet system. Now I have 2 options. Either buy piece by piece of a cooling system to make an effective system.... or save my money about 250$ a paycheck (500 a month) for 6 months and buy a system that is near top of line for that time...

btw I only payed 2000$ for that system up top.... purchased it on Mar-21-2004 and gave it to my wife as a present. So I know there will be an even more efficient system in 6 months for 3000$ or less. What do you think???? plz inform me.. i am not asking questions to be answered... i am letting you post your opinion. What do you think as a reader / writer???

Here are the topics i would like you to follow up on.
1. Has anyone here tested the P4 3.4 ghz chip?
2. What do you think is the limit of the chip and what temp have you tested it at?
3. Is it feasable to OC the R98XT memmory and at what temp would i have to keep it cool at?
4. My memmory is Dual Channel DDR and i have not tested the temps on it, does anyone know how stable ddr is at what temps? Would it be wise to put a cooling system on it?
5. Would it be wise for me to just let my wife take the computer for herself and just leave it alone for 6 months to buy a new computer at that time's standards??? by standards i mean better than what ive purchased already.

thank you in advance for your information
and **** you in advance for your flames (i hope you get herpes you troll bastard)
have a nice day!

You can't overclock a Dell system AFAIK, so there'd be no point in using phase change on it.

hmm.... so perhaps phase change isnt for me.... even though im teh nub and dont know what a phase change is (joking) ill check around on other forums... even if i dont overclock, i know my system would benefit from being cooler than just a aluminum heatsink and a fan... at least my memmory and video card could.

Benefit how?

You're going to have to drop the dell and build your own (or pay someone else to build you one) before theres going to be any point in cooling the system.

One of the benefits of you buying an OEM is testing and engineering expertise. I don't think Dell would sell you a monster like THAT without taking its thermal properties into account. Having said that, if you WANT a sexy cooling solution you're well within your rights to have one.
