i read in a article on here that pelts have to have almost 200-300 pounds of pressure or something like that and the cores only have about 15pounds or less and well i was wondering if i tightened on the coldplate to the waterblock with a air compresser screw driver attachment do you think that would be 300 pounds or more or what cuz my air compresser is pretty strong and i want this pelt clamped on there tight

Use a torque wrench or do it by hand - not worth risking destroying your pelt by overtightening.

you'll probably strip the threads before you destroy the pelt,, best thing to do is to get them all tight enough to just barely hold the pelt,, then tighten them a 1/4 turn at a time or so,, alternating one across from the other like you're supposed to do with lug-nuts on a car tire.. Untill you have real good pressure on the pelt... but dont strip the screws
