I wonder if someone could supply me with a schematic of a circuit that takes an positive voltage input, say from 0 to 12 volts DC and uses one of those LED number displays(the kind with the 8 LED segments) to go from 0 to 9 depending on the voltage. I am thinking of hooking something like this up to a voltage regulator in my fan controller to indicate the speed of the fan.

Okay I found something a little helpful HERE. About halfway down the page there is a schematic that uses a 555 timer to make the LED display count from 0 to 9 or 9 to 0. Now I just need to figure out how to replace the timer part with something that would react to a voltage change.
