Default Ideas on wiring for pump and LED

hey, iv just gotten into watercooling, i havnt built my water block but im hoping it will go well ithout faults. i want to wire up my pump to the psu but im not sure how to make it turn on with the computer. i also want a LED in the front of my case to show me that my pump is working properly. has any one had past experence in this aria.any ideas are verry welcome

First thing I would have to know is whether your pump is wall voltage (120VAC US or 240VAC Euro) or 12VDC from the power supply for the system.

With this information, we can draw a circuit diagram with simple parts.

ok kool, well i havnt got all my parts yet but i do have a pump.
my pump if 240VAC (AU) and im planing to run it of mains power, i just need some way to make it turn on with the computer. o h and i also looked into the LED and im hoping that i can find my self a transformer to convert the 240VAC into a 3.5VDC for the LED. i just need to get th pump worked out first.

yeah, i remember that site. i didnt want to go through a hasel of wiring up a relay system and i was hoping that somone would have a trick that dosnt need those things. thax for the post anyways. so hase any one else got any more iddeas????

kj ppls i found out another way, DSE.com.au had this lil machine that dose it for me so im all hapy now. thax for ya help any ways. see ya round some time
