Default My new algae farm....

well, it's been about six months since i installed my first water cooling setup. after the first month without the little green ones, i assumed (falsely) that anti-algae tabs were not needed and the small amout of water wetter would keep them at bay. i have no internal case lights, and the only light the inside of the case receives is from the rear fan openings. i guess that was enough.... well then, they don't seem to like the res because they are not growing on the walls there. however, they've taken up residence in the danger den tubing. i guess it's time to clean. maybe this is a good time to upgrade while i've got everything apart......

Anti algae tabs? Where do I get those? Maybe I should drop one in there before this happens to me.

Actually since typing that post I searched and found several liquid algaecides. Can anyone recommend a good one? I want to be proactive... the last thing I want to do is have to take the bloody thing apart to clean it after all the work spent putting it together. In another algae thread, Airspirit recommends algaecide for hot tubs. Anyone else try this? Thanks in advance.
