Water Block Design / Construction Building your own block? Need info on designing one? Heres where to do it

Default Need Help Waterblock Question

hello i wont to no what the socket a (AMD) dimetions on the mobo are because im machineing a water block at school and i need it ASAP i no the hole dimetion from on side to the other but i need to no the dimetion i should make the water block LxW and what design is good the spiral were the water enters the CPU first or the 3 nipple thing ( 1 inlet 2 outlet) ps the lengt i would make it like 70 or 80mm but the width... PS i dont wont to make the little lip at the bottem. if i dont get replys all have to take the computer apart and measur it so PLEASE help me and these forums are very informational and helpfull thanks to all who made this possible

i no that but how far in width can i go before i hit the socket bump (were the cpu sits up from it. its a little elevated fom there for the heat sink or somethin)

just go 80x50, with the holes in the corners, and you'll be fine...
