Default Worth the upgrade? Bayrez sucking air?

I'm still working on my project and am wondering..... Will going with a D4 benifit me at all? TDX block w/#4 nozzle, 2-342(single pass)hc and 1250 pump.
I'm only going to be watercooling my CPU, no future plans for NB or GPU.
Also, anyone know how to prevent water being sucked into the loop on a 5 1/4 bayrez? It's driving me nuts!

Not sure on the pump. Sounds like you have a leak in the res or the water level isn't above the inlet(s)/outlet(s).

Nope, no leaks. If i tip up the bayrez and COMPLETELY fill it, it doesnt suck air, but the whole frickin point of having the bayrez is easy fill and bleed! It's just a PITA!
BTW: Yes, water is filled above the inlet outlet.

Maybe a single bay res is too shallow. I have a dual 5 1/4" bay res and its the easiest thing in the world to fill and bleed.

My bayres sucked air like a mofo.

Remove it and put a T Line in.

Both Dtek and Swiftech sell that same res... so check prices, and THIS FORUM for more information.
