It took some doing, scouring eBay for the past few months, but I got me (what I think is) a good flowmeter:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3850991548 Specs: http://www.wbta.us/bigben2k/mn-300n.pdf (PDF 13 pages, 204k) http://www.wbta.us/bigben2k/MN-PTF-IOM.pdf (PDF 12 pages, 141k) It'll take me some time to set it up, especially since I'll be moving shortly ![]() Anyone know anything else about these? Looks cool. I recently got a flow meter too. Just waiting to finish off the garage before I get the new test bench up.

He he, the meter is for testing.
I've got a couple of Blue-White rotameters that'll fit nicely into the PC though. ![]() |

Yeah I know, but it comes with a non-DOA warranty, so I'll have to path/power it up ASAP and see if it actually works.
The reason I went for this unit is also because it's actually located in my home town, so returning it will be very, very easy. I'll advise the results. |

I almost forgot...
To get the flowmeter above, I've been running daily searches (for the past three months) in eBay for the words "flow meter" (with a space) in the title and text, where the word "flowmeter" (no space) does not appear. It'll list those items that don't have a description that is searched as often, making bidding a tad easier. A dirty trick, but all fair. |

Good news; The scope appears to be working!
I successfully replaced the power cord. I'm using the 1 kHz signal on the front panel to test both channels, and both appear to work just fine. Both channel trigs are also functional. I've got a few more tests to run... I'll report results. |
