Well after the bashfest about the dwyer flow meter i got, I found a nice upgrade.. Let me know what you guys think of it. here is the ebay link. the auction is over so no need to be scared about being poached. and yes i know it needs a flowtube. im working on getting a 1/2inch one right now.

Note I belive that is the same unit as the Rosemount 8712. Parts should be interchangable.

I'm googling, and I get the same thing.

I would have picked up the tube first; you may not need the transmitter. Either way, it's a nice find, with a decent price.

I hope it is good as I am attempting to acquire the same unit with a 1/2" flow tube myself.

Bill can't post here anymore BTW. Swiftech finally told him not to anymore.

Swiftech told him not to post?

Then I guess I will no longer buy Swiftech blocks.

I am the only bidder as of know. The Flow tube is "ROSEMOUNT MAG FLOWTUBE MODEL 8711" and the transmitter is "ROSEMOUNT MAG FLOW TRANSMITTER SMART FAMILY 8712C". If your looking at the same auction then hope you have deep pockets because my max bid is $$$.

The flow tube and the transmitter combined new is around $2,100. Figure it is a worthy deal.

actually the 8705 flowtube is 2200 from rosemount and the 8711 (the one on ebay) is 1700 this is 1/2inch, teflon liner, etc.

the reason i know is i talked to the rosemount rep on the phone today about it. i just about carped my pants when he told me. right before he told me the price he said "are you sitting down?"

No, I knew I was done when the transmitter when over $200. I seen that and didn't bother raising the flow tube bid of $250. Glad you got it!
