Default PSU +5V Charges

I read diferents opinions in this forum, and I'm not sure of what may be the correct charge to put on +5V of PSU to get and stable +12V (stable and with enouth watts).

normally you want a load of at least 1A, that means a 5 ohm, 5W resistor of some sort.
