Ouch, that's is a lot of downtime. Even my home town of 1000 people up in the hills 120 miles from any major city has backup step down transformers (was tested more than once ). Odd they don't have backups, especially in a industrial area. I would be bitching quite loud about that.

Went in last night, took my computer home so I can do some work.

Alot of people not going to work this morning, hopefully this will put some more pressure to find a fix ASAP.

Dan says they may bring in a generator today or tomorrow, but this will only allow the 110V side, office and such. Three phase side (all the machines) will be down in the whole park till replacement.

Well at least it is not as bad as "THE BIG" black out a few years ago, I am sure everyone in North America remembers that. I sure remember the NY goverment blaming Canada on the news, before they found out what really happened.

Best of luck with getting the power restored... When it happened I said "Somehow I know this will be our fault.", talking about the local Cleveland power company.
