Folks,
I have built a number of systems before but want to give watercooling a shot and haven’t got a clue, so I’m looking for some advice. The proposed rig is: GFX: 256MB Asus PCI-E EN7800GTX DVI MEM: 1Gb (2 x 512 Mb) Corsair TwinX, DDR CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4400+ MB: Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe HD: 250Gb Maxtor Maxline 3 SATA II PSU: 580W Tagan 2Force T580-U22 SLi U-Qu DVD: Sony DWQ28AB2 Black 16x16x4 DVD±RW Case: Coolmaster CMStacker Silver Trim So what would you recommend as a water cooling rig for the above? Ideally I would like to cool the CPU, MB & Card with something with a good installation guide and no extra fabrication. While I might like to overclock, I’m looking for noise reduction above all else. Rig will be used for gaming in the evening and home office work during the day. Thanks in Advance Alsan |

Don't bother with cooling the motherboard/northbridge. It is not needed and offers no benefits for nForce-4 boards.
Up until recently, you had to buy all the parts seperately and all kits sucked. They used to contain subpar items. But now that has changed. Swiftech created a kit that contains nothing but the top of the line parts. This is the best kit out there: http://www.swiftnets.com/products/H20-APEX.asp If you can't find the kit carried at a retailer, then buy the items seperately. It includes the following: CPU: Storm G4 RAD: MCR220 2x120mm Pump: MCP655 (D5) Res: 5.25" bay res Tubing: 7/16" ID All you need to add to a GPU block. GPU: DangerDen Maze 4 Suitable substitutions are using 1/2" ID 3/4" OD ClearFlex Tubing and using a 5/8" ID T-Line instead of a Reservoir. If you want to save some money, you can go with Swiftech's MCW6002 CPU block instead of the Storm G4. But the Storm G4 is the best cpu waterblock available retail.
