Ive been busy with work, side stuff, and some other hobbies the last couple weeks. This week I should get some time to get back on working with the site.
Oh Silverstone, and OCZ are coming onboard with procooling for review goodies ![]()

Although the focus will likely remain the same (cooling), is the site going to be taking a broader look at computing?
It certainly has become a hotbed for Snap Servers, so will the push to meet a broader spectrum of topics continue? If so I think that will be great. Although WB testing may not be happening with great frequency, much about testing certainly has been learned and shared here, and no doubt the lessons from testing WBs can be applied to other things. Even if the cooling is not in the review, we can still keep the "Pro". |

Yes.. since cooling in general I believe is something that we 1. cant really do that much detailed work on currently since we dont have the gear or the people to do it properly, and 2. High end liquid cooling in general is becoming non essential for a geek, as quiet cooling can be achieved via air means.
I am going to be pushing us to get into more of a silent/HTPC cooling role. Also looking at more dynamic uses for PC's such as the media center portion, and other mobile/unique type things. Computer modding (such as the iOpener, Snap server type things) are also things I want to continue looking at. I know that cooling is what we have made ourselves known on... but the simple fact is (and bill called this a while ago) if we stick to cooling only... the site will go no where. The fact that realisticly, we have no cooling testing happening now... or going to happen in the near future. Its time to become a more dynamic site, with a more dynamic topic, and more dynamic writers. This isnt the death toll of cooling on procooling... but is the sign that stuff is going to change a bit. But anything we will do will still be "Pro" ![]()
