Default 24T-36T coolingworks rads? Anyone comment

I heard Coolingworks and Bill have been design a new RAD, 2x120mm and possible 3x120mm that is designed towards really silent cooling?

Is this true or just silly rumors? Anyone have some tidbits? Nothing on google yet or coolingworks website

Thanks for the info. Wow they are on sale too! $60 is very competitive price!

Heard it was a 9 FPI rad. Was that true at one point? Did it make any substantial difference in performance or noise levels comparing 9 FPI to 12 FPI. Are any of them out for testing?

Coolingworks.com website is also updated. GJ Lothar.
EDIT:
AW, I thought the 12~12cm.

Is this new? I thought that Coolingworks had this out for a while, but I may be thinking of an older design. Lothar, can you talk a little about this and how you see it contrast/compare to other rads? Marci, if you'd like to respond it would be nice to see the different manufacturers talk about the products.

I will edit out anything that I think is a non-techical jab at any of the companies involved, though. I am sure we can all work together to ensure that this does not devolve into a flame fest.

No we went with 12 FPI based on Bill's recommendations. He has a done a lot of research and development on radiators. I doubt you will get much from Bill he has had it with people questioning his integrity. None are out for review. I'd be happy to offer all three versions for review. But if it is going to be a test bench review I want someone with competence and the proper test bench to perform the testing.

Actually I've never had an issue with Marci. He has never attacked me personally and IMHO he makes a very nice product.

BTW cute kid

Other than Bill, I don't know anyone who's got a testbench for radiator testing; do you?

Am still working on mine.

Define what you think is a proper test bench and what traits one must poses to be competent?

I wasn't really concerned about Marci. But others often feel the need to jump right in. Call me paranoid, but I finally feel free to stomp on some senseless behavior.

Caled thermometers, coolant inlet/outlet with 0.01° resolution

No comments to add really - made to CoolingWorks usual standards etc, should be peachy... higher fpi than us but thinner core... swings n roundabouts for marginal results these days. There's only so far tweaking a design will get you and we're all coming up to the same line... much as Willlie was saying back in the PA-related threads of the day...

Anyways - below 10fpi - tricky to get good output without major tooling reworks... lot of "scrap" rads produced... hard to retain integrity, stop the core from twisting etc - not enough rigidity and the lower the FPI, the messier each row-end tends to end up being... anyone releasing sub-10fpi rads is an unlikely event imo. Was the 12T not also 12FPI? Is this nothing new other than a footprint increase? Can't recall offhand and FPI not listed on the site...

If merely a footprint extension, then find testing results for 12T and extrapolate for 2x120 and 3x120. Bill already showed that doing so rings true to test results when he tested HE Series - only ever tested single and double, extrapolated triple... so extrapolation can easily avoid any need for testing if results exist for 1x120 and all other specs match other than length.

The 12T was 16.5 FPI thus extrapolation is not appropriate
