Default Designing a gpu and cpu water block

how to you think this block would perform compared to a swifttech apogee

would their be good water flow and would i need to rough up the inside for more turbulence

how big of a piece of copper is needed for a cpu i have a 2 x 4 1/2 inch thick would that be enoegh

if you have any designs that will fit on a 939 board and that can be done with a drill press and a dremel i would be grateful

oh a one more thing i'm going to try to design a gpu water block for my 7800gtx and i was wonder how far are the mount holes and if you have any designs that would be appreciated

This is the same design as the older Maze block, which doesn't have as low of a C/W rating as the Apogee beacause there's far less turblence.
The Apogee gets it's performance from the fin pattern, which wouldn't be that hard to do yourself if you simply purchase the right size slitting saw blade.

That's a 3D CAD design I've done exactly 4 years ago (http://www.overclockers.com/tips793). At that time maze-type blocks were probably top-of-the-line. Now it is obsolete and I would definitely go for Cathar's Storm design:

it is definitely not German, i would guess it is dutch. Its like german with a heavy heavy akcent and a completely different writing, but when i say it out loudly i can guess some words because i am german

This is what i understood/guessed:

He has a rig and doesn't want to make frees to it, whatever frees are.

I guess that means what we think of it, because "finden" means think of and hiervan is similar to geramn hiervon wich means "of this".

I think I doesn't have to translate that.

He wants to make it from aluminium and to purchase something green (wtf?)
