Guys
Running this snap server with the original 14gb drive in it. I also have a pc on my network which i use for backups etc. If i transfer an 1gb file from my main pc to the other pc it takes 2mins If i transfer the same 1gb file from my main pc to the snap it takes 11mins Is this just the drive thats holding this speed back? Cheers |

Drives could be part of it, but the snap 1000 is just slow period. Slow processor, slow IDE bus, slow everything. I doubt you will ever get more performance out of it than you already have. You could try a drive upgrade if though. More space is never a bad thing...
