I have just sold all my R/C gear ... Buying a real rally car instead

Nice set of planes there and that model looks hot!

Noo... buying some thing, smaller, faster, and better handling

Oh and also from 1985, and based ona K-car hehe

a 1985 Dodge Omni GLH Turbo with some work done. its dropping to the ground around 200 - 220Hp and it weighs 1600 lbs. it'd spank a WRX Its fairly easy to make these 10 second cars if I was going to drag it. But its my new Rally car.

Ahh, so you're taking the absolute bare minimalist approach. Going to use the Focus as a daily driver i hope instead of the omni.

the omni will be my winter driver also, the focus will stay in the garage for the winter. Its all prep'd for autoX and track days at this point no reason to take it into the snow.

Oh yah, snow. Just remember, NO MORE LAKE DRIVING!!!!

Those little turbo DSM's can be pretty damn quick. They just break all the time so make sure you get it built right. A modded galant took my 415rwhp vette out of the hole one night a few months back. (gotta love AWD) I reeled him in and blew him away of course but his junk was fast. I haven't seen an Omni in a long time. Back in high school I had an 89 Daytona, my friend Brad had a 88 Conquest, Kirk had an Omni i believe. I wish I still had my Daytona.
