Procooling is moving hosting to a new server/company. The past month, performance has gotten terrible on our current host, with uptime issues, etc...
I am moving this to a smaller hosting package at a new company to hopefully smooth things out (and save some cash). In the process I will be removing unused portions of the server to save space (like subdomains no longer used or accessed, email accounts no longer active, etc...) So pH and Brian, if you have data in your user subdomains you may want to look at migrating that somewhere else ASAP. From my logs neither have been accessed in over a year. I will be looking into some other streamlining of the site and processes to make it live more comfortable on the new hosting. So thats that... new hosting has already been purchased, I am going to be working on getting it configured in the next week and migrated soon after that. the IRC server MAY be brought back online after the move.

Update: the new server is all configured in record time. I may lock the forums tongiht and migrate the data and stand up the new server.
In the middle of all this is a DNS migration thats happening also, so for the next few days the server may come and go...

I think we're OK with the old stale stuff going away...
Yeh I will check my Gmail account tonight. there is a query issue with the front page I need to look at (it worked when I went to sleep, then when I woke up I see that the front page dies on a forum query... so I need to address that still). and IRC may not be going back up since I dont think my new host allows 6667 to the servers due to issues with folks running IRC pirate networks. I am working on that though.

You can probably scrap that Cooltechnica ad. Seems they have gone. My last e-mail I got from Bruce said he would explain what is up with cooltechnica but he never got back to me.. This was in March...

Joe, did you ever get a chance to check that mail from me? I have a feeling now maybe I have the wrong email address down for you.
What was up with the server today? Noticed it was unresponsive for a bit. Also, if you can't host IRC I can run #ProCooling.com on my server.

hrm... I did just see a weird error when I posted that. I will look into it a bit more when I have some time.

I think it was a memory leak in Apache. I changed the config to hopefully stop that. I will keep an eye on it.
Thanks for letting me know guys!
