You mean motherboard and CPU combo?
That depends. DDR is fast but board choices are somewhat limited. The KT133a is fast and dirt and comes in ever configeration you could want, but it is still a Via system. Finally the nForce will most likly awe every chipset that preceeded it when it is released. Me? I'm waiting for for nForce. If I had to buy now I'd probably OC a 1GHz AIXA on an A7V133 just because it is such an awesome deal for the money. If money isn't an object than a 1.33GHz TBird on Fic's 760 board (i forget the name, Ad11 or something like that) with Crucial PC2100 RAM. Actually its nearly the same price as the KT133A system (the Fic board is damn cheap and OCs nicely) but requires you to throw out your old PC133. |

Everyone talks about the nForce like it is some ****ing amazing gift to the human race. Well, maybe it will be, but there are a couple things to keep in mind. 1) It will have a Geforce2 built on it. That should make it expensive. 2) It is built by someone who has ZERO experience making chipsets (besides XBOX).
I say grab an 8k7A. Those are being acclaimed as the best 760 motherboards.
