Default Application of Heat Sink Grease

Alright, got the Athlon 1.2 in as well as some heat sink grease. Since the Athlon has the chips and rubbery nubs on the top, should I just fill the whole gap with the grease right over the chips on the top or what?

Heh, thanks a lot. I've never used the grease before so I figured I'd have to look like a moron at least once to avoid screwing something up. Thanks.
