Default Where should I place my heatercore?

I got the heater core from D-tek and i'm having problems to find a place to place.

First I planed first to place it agenst the side-cover on my midi-tower, but it was a to big, so now I can only:
- place the fan in the front and make a shrould to the heater core and the air is taken from innside the tower
-- or I can place the heater core in the front and make a shrould to the fan that is placed agenst the side cover.

What one is best? If I uses the first methode the I should make some holes where the air would be drawn from, but woulden't that be noisiere then the other methode?

the first option is what most people do, meaning there is a lot of warm air coming into the case. The second option is what Joe did in pro/mini, it means there are less options for airflow into the case, but there is no hot air going into the case

I meant to pull the air from the case trough the heater core and out.

How hoter is the air that does come out of an heater core then the ambient?

depends on your air flow, heat load, etc. Remember you are just dumping the cpu heat into your case
