Default dubro res leak problems.

sup fellas, ive been readin here for a long time, After having my h20 system runnin for over 6 months without a problem, my dubro res has started to leak where ive mounted my plastic barbs. i used jbweld around the barbs, and silicone sealant as a security measure. Over time water has started to seep through and drip ever so slowly on the bottom of my case. Hence you can imagine my displeasure. Is there something i forgot? is there some kind of thread water sealer that i shouldve used while threading the barbs into the plastic res? I will be purchasing a new dubro tank soon, so is there any tips you guys could give me about sealing the barbs? thx...

I usually just re-did the barbs occassionally on mine. Nothing wanted to seal absolutely perfectly.
