What do you guys use to make accurate measurements when drafting blueprints and technical drawings, etc? Say I want to measure the distance of the HSF mounting holes on a GF3, or the precise height of the Maze 3... what do I use? (don't say ruler)... I was thinking of some sort of digital calipers, etc... brands, where to buy, cost???

you can get them from MAC tools, but they are expensive
PEP boys or autozone should carry dial calipers. That is what I use.

just some fairly cheap electric calipers, they'll be accurate enough for what you need.

I don't know about you...but 100-200 bucks for some calipers I won't use everyday is way to much... I think he'll do fine with some cheap dial calipers, they work fine.
