just thought i would drop this little tip (im sure some of u already know)...i had some 1/2 x 3/4 tygon tubing and i need a tight 90 deg bend to go from my gpu water block to my pump(u can see in the pic how short of a distance i had to work with)....anyway i took a 1/2 od spring and slid it down the inside of the tubing and then took a clothes hang and put it inside the spring and bent it to about 15 to 20 deg past 90 and put it in boiling water for 15 min and to my suprise it came out at a prefect 90 degree..
i hope this helps someone the pic doesnt show my new setup but u can see the tight bend i needed(pics coming soon when i get my new setup done) ![]()

I've filled tubing and hose with sand before and heated it to make complex bends... works good.

Look at tubes going to and from my radiator in the front of my cube case (pic in .sig below), quite a bend there. I inserted springs into the 3/8" vinyl tubing and it works great, springs are usually made out of very corrosive-resistant steel and they look as new (in service for a year now). I use 2% water wetter in my water.

i would recommend putting copper elbows in there.. take some 3/8" silicone and it fit nicely over 3/8" copper elbows. same applies for both being 1/2" but hey, if your happy with it, thats what matters |

DigitalChaos, yes I'm satisfied and it doesn't kill my flow that much and only lowers my cooling ability by 0.5 C which is within the margin of error.. especially as I only have an in-socket probe.

what i do if my tubing is bending and flattening at a corner i take a zip tie and i put it around the tube so it makes it round agian works goodor if you have any extra hose you can cut a slit it in and put it around the hose in you system to straighten it out

A copper pipe 90 that has a sweeping curve is borderline; 2 copper 45s are better. Never use the 90 degree barbed fittings. Why not just get a small piece of silicone for that one bend?
