P4 WB mounting using different mechanism...

I was wondering if anyone had tried to mount a WB, say a maze3, onto a PIV mobo using that neat mounting assembly that comes on the stock HSF? Intel really did it right this time.. that mounting system is superior to AMD's crap. I don't even see how it would be possible to crack a PIV, let alone w/ the levers on the HSF.
Using nylon bolts SUX! It would be nice to just flip two levers and remove the WB...

Any ideas?

ah... so that block uses the lever method mounting system? hmmm. I didn't want a whole other block, just a way to mount the maze3 differently. Also, do you you of anywhere that sells the little lever bracket separately from the PIV heatsink/fan?

I doubt you'd be able to due to the barb placement in the maze3.

I also doubt you'd be able to get spare brackets, they only come out of retail boxed cpu's

ah. those brackets should be standardized (sp?) and used in all P4 HSF, at manufacturer's discretion.

Cooler Master use a very similar mechanism on some of their cheaper Al P4 heatsinks
